Waking Cosmos – are sentient beings the universe waking up?

Happy World Sentientism Day! (we have two – one for each solstice).

I had the pleasure of being Adrian David Nelson’s guest on his Waking Cosmos podcast a while back. Our conversation is now the latest episode (#182) of our Sentientism podcast as a bonus. Here it is on Apple, Spotify, Podchaser and all the other platforms

Make sure you subscribe to Waking Cosmos on podcast and YouTube (his videos have been watched almost 6 million times!) too. Here’s how Adrian describes his conversations and video-essays: “The universe is an extraordinary place, full of beauty and mystery. And yet, for all of the amazing things that science has discovered, the most surprising and mysterious aspect of reality is… us. Through the development of life and mind, the universe glimpses the potential of a subjective dimension, -of value, meaning, and significance. Today growing numbers of scientists and philosophers argue that proper recognition of the existence of consciousness reframes our entire cosmological picture. This series focuses on the extraordinary reality that the universe is waking up.”

Adrian has interviewed some fascinating people including Sharon Rawlette, Toby Ord, David Pearce, Andrés Gómez Emilsson, Philip Goff, Rupert Sheldrake and Donald Hoffman. It’s an honour to join his guest list. I think Adrian is a Sentientist too 🙂
