Maja has an MSc in Clinical Health Psychology. She is passionate about research and advocacy focused on improving well-being for all human and non-human animals. She is the primary author, along with co-authors Devon Docherty and Carol Jasper, of the paper Out of sight, out of mind: How pescetarians manage dissonance by creating distance. Maja has a naturalistic, non-religious worldview. She is vegan and includes a sentiocentric moral scope in her “radical, ecocentrist” perspective.
