I have been an animal rights activist and vegan since the 1990s and as a media studies professor I also explore activist communication strategies and make recommendations for fairer more inclusive media representations of all us sentient beings. My books include Framing Farming and the Human Animal Earthling Identity, and I’m working on a book about better coexisting with wild/free-living animals.
