Imagine a worldview that claimed universal compassion but excluded some out-groups of humans 😢

Now imagine a worldview that claimed universal compassion but excluded most sentient beings (i.e. the non-human ones)😢

This thought process was partly what led me to go vegan. Reading about AI, I often thought about how I would welcome sentient machines and intend to treat them well. Then it occurred to me that such a test was already possible here and now, and I was failing it. https://twitter.com/sentientism/status/1527040883815759880

@Sentientism@sentientism

Are there any good reasons why an artificial or alien sentient should get moral consideration while a biological sentient shouldn’t?

In other words - why aren’t all AI / #robotrights people and #scifi fans and writers 🌱 vegan?

The above covers the worldviews of nearly every human.

Fortunately there is #Sentientism. "Evidence, reason and compassion for ALL sentient beings".

Eventually it will be the default human worldview 🙂🌏💚
